Half-Day in Cleveland
When a company in downtown Cleveland gave me and my friend Peter both interviews, we decided to make a road trip out of it. We drove 5 hours from West Lafayette, and, in order to avoid the tolls, we drove on tiny street roads, including a giant nuclear power plant and Cedar Point amusement park.
Here's are some of the things that I would 100% recommend:
1. Cleveland Art Museum. It's free, and it's enormous. There's also the famous statue Le Penseur in front.
2. Go to Little Italy. There's a lot of cute Italian restaurants and shops. We were starving after going to the museum after a full day of interviews. If I go back, I would totally make a reservation ahead of time. If you are craving something sweet, I highly recommend Presti's Bakery (12101 Mayfield Rd). Here's a picture of my Tira Misu dessert.

3. At the Train Station (the building right in the middle), there's a mall, a casino, and a movie theatre. We spent a small part of our travel reimbursement at the casino, and it was a fitting end to a very interesting day.
What I enjoy about Cleveland is that it feels metropolitan and midwestern. Around Case Western and the Museum, we drove past a lot of historic residential neighborhoods and well maintained parks and jogging/bike paths. At the same time, you have access to a lot of the benefits and fun of being in a city.
