El Matador State Beach - Couples Photography

I haven't done much couples photography. Actually, this is my first couples photography portrait session, and I could not have been luckier with these two. They are such wonderful, kind, funny, and caring people. I'm glad they found each other, and they look beautiful together. 

Due to my lack of confidence in trying to pose people, I tried an approach where instead of telling my subjects how to move, I would give directions like a movie director like "Imagine he just said something hilarious" or "Imagine your future together" and let their candid selves shine based on the emotion we are trying to convey.
